Ways to Help
At HeartsApart.org, we want our Armed Forces to be within reach of their loved ones and this connection is able to happen when we have the commitment of individuals and organizations across the country. These men and women are away from the comforts of their home, family and friends. With your help, we are able to give a little piece of comfort to those who serve in our military.
Time and again, military families have stressed that the most important thing they can have while their loved one is deployed are memories captured in images. We believe that it is our duty as artists and Americans to ensure that families who sacrifice so much for our personal safety and freedom are able to attain those memories and images, and they should not have to pay to do so.
In addition, we believe that the soldier overseas deserves a way to keep their loved ones images with them at all times without having those pictures destroyed by sand, heat, water, or other elements that destroy these prized possessions. HeartsApart.org wants to make sure that if a soldier is under fire, fighting for his life, he can reach into his breast pocket and look at his HeartsApart.org photos of his loved ones and remember what he is fighting for. We want a soldier to look at that picture and say “I'm fighting today for this, for these people, and I'm winning.”
As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, HeartsApart.org relies on the generosity of individuals, corporations and foundations. Any gift or partnership made will be a gift of support, love and thanks.
"I think about the 2nd and 3rd level impact of these photos. I need these - in case I need these."
“Giving a small portion of my time to create truly priceless portraits that will be handed down for generations is an honor and a privilege... a very small way to give back to the military community that gives so much of themselves.”
